<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Looking back on the essay I wrote 4 years ago (and reading Macbeth), I understand more about the beauty of Shakespeare. Hearing, not reading, his plays makes a big difference. In addition, on stage, there are many visual clues to help, although it is still easy to get lost. Modern audiences may have more "intellectualism" than I give them credit for.
