MIT Menu Mobile is a spin off I made on my own time from the SocialSaver project at the MIT Media Lab. It provides a nice iui-powered interface to get the daily menus from MIT House Dining locations. The existing MIT site, recently redesigned, is not good for mobile interfaces. I made it during the 2009 Christmas holiday for myself so I could see what was for dinner more easily. This is something I made on my own - not an official MIT Dining Services release.
Beta
The site is in beta now - the data format the data is published in is not very reliable. Known issues:
- They can change the format at any minute - so far they have followed a consistent format.
- It just shows the menu for that weekday - wether or not the location is open that day or it has been updated
