I am proud of the visual and information design of SeniorQuoter. (http://seniorquoter.org) SeniorQuoter is an open-source, installable PHP application which makes it easier for yearbooks to collect senior quotes. The visual design includes the branding of the project, the application’s administration panel, and the choices we provide to the schools for creating their submission page. I purposely created my own letters to communicate the feeling of handwriting. The pencil furthers the feeling of handwriting and it serves as the favicon. The way it comes off of the S and is the dot of the “i” further personalizes the logo and pulls it together and it provides a slight cursive element. The administration page is based off of the visual design of previous versions of the Wordpress blogging software. I split the sections into tab areas. In order to increase the visual appeal of the interface I added famfamfam icons. We allow
