In order to make the public aware about different social problems, I am going to create a online question and answer website. It will be called Conflicter and and live at http://conflicter.org. The project will be based on Tecker (http://tecker.net) cod e I have developed in the past few months. The website will be written in PHP and use a MySQl database. It will run on my hosted servers at 1&1 on appache server software running on Linux. this is commonly called the LAMP platform. On the website, any users will be able to register for a free account. They will then be able to ask questions about global culture. The goal of the project is to end global ignorance through the spread of infomation. The questions will be then storred on the site. Anyone can then answer these questions using the web form. Thus, this is an interactive community site.

There will also be categories for questions. When a user asks a question, they will be asked to select a category for that question. Thereafter, the question will appear in this category. The list of questions will also be able to be sorted by by recency and by the user who submits the question. There will also be RSS feeds. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and allows users to subscribe the the list of questions in order to read them in their newsreader or certain web browsers.

the website will be formatted using semantic markup. It will use CSS to format the page in a logical and clean way. The site will be validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict and be viewable on modern web browsers including mobile browser.

The site will only be in English. It will be accessible from every computer on the internet. There will be a link to the site from Tecker and my website, theplaz.com.

The logo will be made from the Web 2.0 logo maker. It will be similar to the Tecker logo, however it will be in blue and green gradients similar to the Earth. In addition, there my also be a globe image.

All submissions to the website will be available under the creative-Commons Attribution 2.5 (nd subsequent) license. The actual code from the site will remain property as of Tecker and remain propitiatory. Because it contains possible trade secrets, it will not be submitted, however will be available for viewing. the site will remain property of Michael Plasmeier and Tecker.

after the project has been submitted, it is planned for the site to continue operations as a non-profit wing of Tecker.

This project is about building framework for user-contributions. Coding a self-written PHP site requires vasts amounts of time. Thus, the project will contain no actual content which I have prepared. This is different from other projects I have completed.
